Welcome Quilters!
My favorite season! I'm juggling working in the garden and quilting. Rainy days are great quilting days. We've had a lot of those lately and things are growing outside while the quilting projects are progressing. I've been priviledged to work on some absolutely gorgeous quilts. Your work is inspiring!
My latest new project is a quilt being designed for Seminole Sampler's Block of the Month starting in September 2009. It's cats! The blocks have evolved to be detailed fused applique cats on a background block of various stars. I wanted the star blocks to be something unusual and of course I like a challenge. I'm calling it "Cat Collection".
The Cat Collection will eventually be a series of patterns after the Block of the Month program is over. For those of you who love dogs, as soon as the cat quilt is complete, I'll be working in the "Dog Collection". The same background blocks but with dogs instead of cats. These will be patterns available as soon as they're done.
