Additional Fun Patterns
Christmas Tree Skirt Pattern
$9.00
This heirloom tree skirt has been a favorite workshop for many years. Due to popular request, it is now also available as a pattern. A specialty ruler is required to make this project (10 degree wedge ruler). The ruler is available in most quilt shops listed on my contacts page.
I Spy Squares Pattern
$9.00
This quilt pattern was designed originally as an "I Spy" quilt. My nephew wanted a quilt with trains, airplanes, tools, Spiderman and trucks. What fun to collect various fabrics! The twisted blocks also form a fun secondary pattern. The quilt patterns looks great with one or two focus fabrics. I made it again as a baby quilt with equally great results.
Celtic Dragons Pattern
$19.00
The quilt center is made from bias strips and fused appliqué. The design is adapted from a brass rubbing I did in London. The outer braided borders are sewn on preprinted foundation muslin, which is included in the pattern.
Orchids Pattern
$12.00
The quilt center is done with curved piecing, by machine or by hand. Create templates from the master pattern and use these to cut out the orchid petals and background. Four blocks make up the center.
The braided border is made by foundation piecing onto preprinted muslin strips that are included in the pattern. The technique is the same as paper piecing, but there is no ripping out of paper! Using three fabrics creates the braided effect.
Quilted Duffle Bag Pattern
$19.00
The Quilted Duffle Bag can be made in one of two sizes. In the large bag, the twelve blocks are used on the front and back. In the smaller bag, the front and back each have four blocks and the remaining four blocks are used for the two sides.
The NY Beauty block is made with foundation piecing onto preprinted muslin blocks which are included in the pattern. A total of twelve preprinted blocks are included. Foundation piecing is the same technique as paper piecing, but no paper needs to be torn out.
The bags are great for carrying around quilts, fabrics and supplies. They also make great overnight bags.
