Long Arm Quilting Services

Picture
My Gammill Optimum machines can quilt your beautiful projects more quickly using Statler Stitcher software that enables both computerized and hand-guided stitching.  A selection of top-quality thread, batting, and backing fabric options are available at my studio.  Services include edge-to-edge finishing, custom quilting, quilt basting, and specialty services.

Edge-to-Edge Finishing

A pattern of varying complexity is stitched from one side of the quilt to the other, and is repeated in each row.  The pattern may be hand or computer guided, and the same thread is used throughout the quilt.  Pricing is dependent on the complexity of the design, size of the quilt, and whether it is hand or computer guided.
Light
Extra-wide and fast stitching pattern, such as a double-width basic meander
$0.016/ square inch
Medium
At or near default width stitching of patterns (applies for the majority of patterns)
$0.02 / square inch
Heavy
Slower stitching patterns, hand-guided stitching, or patterns stitched at less than default widths or high density
$0.03 / square inch

Custom Quilting

This technique features designs stitched in blocks, borders and/or sashing, stitching in the ditch, diagonal or grid lines, echo quilting, and/or patterns of varying complexity stitched in specific areas of the quilt. The long-arm machine may be fully hand-guided or a combination of computer and hand-guided. Costs vary with the complexity of the designs, the number of thread changes and the number of stops/starts in the designs.
