The majestic purple irises are the centerpiece of this wall hanging quilt. The quilt center is done entirely by paper piecing. The quilt backing is a light colored vine patterned batik.  Detailed quilting in the background makes the flowers more dimensional and a feathered vine frames the piece around the border. The binding in a dark blue adds the finishing touch.
